A woman from a Congleton based aesthetics and beauty business has been nominated for a national award.

Congleton's Kimberley Johnson has been shortlisted in the Certified UK Hair and Beauty Awards.

PULSE MediSpa, is a highly professional clinic and renowned for providing customers with a first-class service.

You may know their premises on 8 Mill Street, in the old Post House.

Kim is elated to announce that she has been shortlisted in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards for the Best Aesthetician of the Year 2022.

''I am so happy and proud to be a finalist for the Hair and Beauty Awards UK for 2022," she said.

"So much hard work has gone in to where I am today and to be recognised for it, is such an achievement."

The UK Hair and Beauty Awards (HBA Awards UK) celebrate the hair and beauty industry in an aim to support businesses both large and small and expose all candidates to new opportunities via social media, no matter their financial and social status.

After a long year of struggle and strife for so many UK-based hair and beauty industry professionals, the Hair and Beauty Awards is breaking down barriers, helping contestants build followings and recognition – even if they don't win.

That is why they are celebrating the entire process of the competition this year and all the amazing talent that has entered.

Kim has been in the Beauty industry for 17 years, and has flourished in recent years in Congleton.

She has worked in some of the most outstanding Health Spa's and Skin Clinics in Cheshire.

In 2017 Kim took the opportunity to set up her own business with the skills and knowledge she had picked up along the way off some of the most leading experts in their field.

This has led to now 'Pulse Medispa'. Pulse now boasts a five star rating on Google Reviews.

From the age of 16, after attending the private beauty college of Lillian Maund, Kim has always had a dream to run her own salon, which then became the dream of an exclusive skin clinic after her time spent working at Medispa Wilmslow.

It is her aim to introduce the latest technology and treatments of non-surgical procedures.

"There is no better feeling than knowing you have helped people to feel their ultimate best as the inevitable ageing process progresses," she added.

"To see women and men shine with confidence is so liberating and it is what strives me to be and do the best I can.

"These treatments are not only for ageing, but they also help the younger generation perfect what they see as imperfect, improving their confidence, mental health and insecurities".

Kim met Stacey Carlise (clinic manager) in 2019, where the two have since been unstoppable and inseparable!

Many trials and tests have faced them over the last couple of years, but they have kept on going.

Stacey has three years of experience in the beauty industry and has a love and passion for nails and brows in particular.

Ace Beauty Cheshire is located within Pulse Medispa offering all beauty treatments.

The pair of them won't be stopping here and have big plans for the future.

We'll find out if they can win the award later in the year.

You can connect with Pulse Medispa on Facebook.

Alternatively, you can get in touch with them through the Contact details on their website.
