A pop up burger takeaway restaurant will launch in Congleton tonight (16 October).

The Burger Shack, which will be located at Bear Grills Cafe, on Market Street, will be open every other Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 9pm.

Pre orders are being taken by direct message on Facebook or by calling 01260 400160 from 4.30pm today (Friday).

To ensure safety, the fast food restaurant will be operating as a click and collect/pre order service only.

A spokesperson for the Burger Shack said: "We only have a certain amount of stock that we can carry. To avoid disappointment phone or message in advance, this is what we are recommending.

"So why not treat yourself with the most beautiful burger this side of the River Dane, a side of fries and slaw and a real one pint milkshake made with real dairy ice cream and semi skimmed milk."

The Burger Shack are accepting cash and card payments and there is free parking on the Fairground Car Park after 5pm.

The Burger Shack's aim is to bring the best gourmet burgers imaginable to Congleton, made by AJ Boon butchers of Chelford to their exacting standards.
