Free creative workshops set to take place in Congleton

A selection of free courses are set to take place in Congleton this spring.

Open to residents aged 11+ and going to school in Cheshire East, Visyon is hosing clay and portrait workshops free.

The Air Drying Clay workshops, set to take place on 4 and 12 March, will see attendees using clay to make a variety of items to take home.

The Self-Care Portrait workshops will see you make a collage of the things that bring you happiness. These will take place on 16 and 22 April 2024.

The best way for you to get support is to call our friendly Initial Contact Team on 01260 290000.​

They are available at the following times:

Monday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm

Friday - 9am to 1pm

You don't need a referral from a GP or your school, you or your parent can call the team directly to discuss your concerns, and the support on offer is completely free of charge.

During the call the team will ask a few questions and tell you about what Visyon has to offer. Whatever you share with your Visyon supporter, they will listen; you are not alone with how you are feeling.

The team will help you to decide what happens next on your journey into feeling more in control of your mental health again. You have already made the brave step of seeking out support and they will help you with the next step.
