A fast-growing flooring company is coming to Congleton.

Exclusive Flooring Cheshire is set to open its third showroom, taking over the unit previously home to the All Ranks Mess and Community Cafe at the Bridestone Shopping Centre.

It marks a huge moment for the firm, set up less than four years ago by 23-year-old Jay Tucker.

Jay said: "I'm very excited for this new chapter of the company.

"I wanted to open the third showroom as I'm always looking at ways to grow the business.

"I'm always looking for good opportunities and when I saw the location in Congleton, I knew it would be perfect.

"This is a moment of great growth for the company as we put a lot of effort into all our showrooms.

"We have some very exciting things planned for the new one which will set us apart from others and bring the business to another level."

At the start of his career, Jay carried out installations for his family's business.

He took a small break to try his hand at accounting but when Covid hit, decided to go back to working in flooring.

Jay then completed a course in LVT with Karndean before launching his own company.

Exclusive Flooring Cheshire's first showroom opened in Kidsgrove in Spring 2024, later joined by a second showroom in Crewe.

Asked what drew him to Congleton, Jay said: "It's a great area with lots of development and a customer base that suits what we offer well.

"The showroom location is perfect as well with it being in the Bridestone Shopping Centre directly next to Morrisons.

"It has plenty of free parking, great accessibility and plenty of footfall with lots of other great businesses next to us."

Work is now well underway to transform the former veterans cafe, which was operated by the LOL Foundation.

Exclusive Flooring Cheshire's Congleton showroom is expected to open for business on Saturday, February 14.

Inside, customers will be able to find carpets and floors to suit all budgets, with a key focus on products from Amtico and Woodpecker.

Jay said: "When customers come to us as soon as they visit our showrooms they can see exactly what we're about.

"We invest huge amounts in our showrooms especially in displays to give our customers a great way to find their new floor.

"We pride ourselves in our service from a 1-1 showroom experience, quick measure ups and estimates, competitive pricing, quality installations with only the best materials used from start to finish proving to our customers there's no better place to go.
