Firefighters called to blaze in disused building
Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at a disused building on Peover Lane on Tuesday 27 August.
Crews arrived at the scene around 7pm, with two engines - one from Congleton and another from Macclesfield.
The fire was at a wooden outbuilding near the junction with the A54. Refuse was on fire, which was put out by firefighters.
A spokesperson for: "A wooden outbuilding and refuse was on fire which was put out by firefighters using two hose reel jets.
"Once the fire was out the area was dampened down and turned over to check for hotspots."
