Fiona Bruce MP Welcomes funding for Congleton War Memorial Hospital

Funding plans have been approved for a £5million community diagnostics centre at Congleton War Memorial Hospital.

Welcoming the announcement Fiona Bruce MP said "The securing of Congleton War Memorial Hospital as a place where local people can go for help with regard to their health concerns has always bene a priority for me as the local MP – not least because I know how much this means to my constituents."

The MP continued: "After campaigning throughout my time as the MP for Congleton Constituency for this – most recently in May this year when I asked the Health Secretary in the House of Commons for the expansion and modernisation of facilities, I am delighted that £5m of national funding has now been provided to ensure the future healthcare provision in Congleton, and that the work is planned both to start, and be finished, quickly."
