Fifteen-year-old girl who went missing in Congleton found safe and well after police deployed helicopter

A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing in Congleton was found safe and well in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, 15th May).

Shortly before 11pm last night (Friday, 14th May), police received reports that a teenage girl had gone missing in Congleton.

Officers — assisted by the police helicopter — carried out a number of searches in the area.

The girl was subsequently found safe and well at 2.24am.
