A family-run furniture store is coming to Congleton town centre.

Famous Brands Furniture Limited has announced it will soon be opening a flagship showroom at the Bridestone Shopping Centre.

After more than two decades in business, it marks an exciting new chapter for the company currently based at Radnor Park Industrial Estate.

A Facebook post announcing the new showroom reads: "After many years of trading from Radnor Park Industrial Estate, we're incredibly excited to announce that we'll be opening our main showroom in Congleton town centre later this year!

"We know that, being based on the industrial estate, not everyone in town has had the chance to discover us — so we can't wait to bring our showroom right into the heart of Congleton and welcome even more of you through the doors.

"We've got lots planned, and we'll be sharing more information over the coming weeks."

George Burgess, owner of Famous Brands Furniture Limited, added: "We are delighted to be returning to a showroom environment in the heart of Congleton.

"We are so excited to add a new retail outlet to the brilliant and busy town centre!"
