Congleton Town Council (CTC) is gearing up for a Easter Egg-Stravaganza right in the heart of the town centre. This popular celebration promises free fun filled activities for families to enjoy during the holiday season.

Congleton Town Mayor, Cllr Rob Moreton said: "The Easter activities offer families a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the spirit of the season. Parents, Grandparents and Carers can entertain the little ones without the inconvenience and cost of venturing out of town. Everyone is welcome to join us for an egg-straordinary celebration! We are proud to support initiatives that foster community engagement and joy for our residents, young and old alike."

Highlights of the event include a free 'Hop around the Shops' Easter Trail, which will take place from 1-15 April around Congleton Town Centre.

Featuring 40 participating town centre shops, families can embark on an adventure, hopping from one shop to another searching for clues with an Easter treat at the end (kindly donated by Tesco, Barn Road and Morrisons). The trail runs from Easter Saturday to 15 April, promising an egg-cellent time for all participants!

Trails available to download or pick up a copy from the Congleton Information Centre.

There will also be a Peter Rabbit themed scavenger hunt in the park during the Easter Holidays to keep families entertained.

The scavenger hunt will take place on 3 and 4 April from 10:30am until 4pm and is also free.
