Driver dies after car crashes into wall in Congleton

A driver has died following a crash in Congleton.
Cheshire Police have confirmed that a man has died after a crash West Road on Tuesday, July 28.
It is understood a blue Peugeot 3008 collided with a wall near the Orange Tree, with the driver pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for the force said: "At around 5.35pm on Tuesday, July 28, police were called to collision on West Road, Congleton.
"The incident involved one vehicle, a blue Peugeot 3008, which had collided with a wall.
"The driver of the car, a man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers."
