Court date for Congleton man charged with string of offences including burglary and theft

A Congleton man is due in court charged with a string of offences.
Samuel Holliday has been charged with multiple offences following an investigation by Congleton Beat Team alongside the Area Investigation Team.
The 31-year-old man faces one count of burglary, seven counts of theft from a shop, one of handling stolen goods, one of possession of Class C drug, two counts of possession of a Class B drug and one of possession of a bladed article.
The charges relate to incidents between September 6 and December 7 of this year.
Holliday appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday, December 8, where he was remanded into custody.
He will next appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
