Council looking to make 2025 Congleton Food & Drink Festival the 'biggest and best' yet after taking over management duties

That is according to the Town Council, who have officially announced the return of the much-anticipated event.
It marks an exciting new chapter for the festival as the council takes over management duties, following 15 successful years under Congleton Community Projects.
Rachel McCarthy, town centre and events officer, said: "The Congleton Food and Drink Festival has always been a much-loved event, and we are delighted to be carrying forward its legacy.
"We're working hard to ensure this year's festival delivers an even more exciting experience for residents and visitors alike.
"From incredible food and drink to fantastic entertainment, there will be something for everyone. Save the date – you won't want to miss it!"

Taking place from 10.30am to 40.30pm on Sunday, June 8, this year's event will feature more than 70 stalls.
Spots are filling up fast and traders are urged to secure their spots now to be a part of this popular event.
There will also be a new logo for this year's festival, with eye-catching posters and flyers to be put up around the town soon.
Meanwhile, the festival website is undergoing a refresh, with all details to be shared there soon.
Congleton Town Council is also look for volunteers to help keep things running smoothly on the day, lending a hand with everything from marshalling to litter picking.
If you can offer any support, contact the council or attend the wider community events volunteer meeting on Tuesday, March 11, from 6pm to 8pm in the Town Hall.
