The Plough Inn is offering some of their rooms free of charge for NHS staff who are the "true heroes" during the coronavirus pandemic and need somewhere to self-isolate.

The Eaton based pub has called on the community to help those who know someone that somewhere to stay to get in touch so they can make arrangements.

The Plough Inn team told Nub News: "We truly hope that everyone is coping as well as possible during these difficult times and we would like to give something back to our fantastic NHS staff who are the true heroes during all of this.

"We have seen a few posts in regard to NHS staff who are self-isolating away from families and having to pay to rent/stay somewhere.

"Please all stay safe and we can't wait to see you again."
