Considering the ongoing situation with the Coronavirus, Congleton Lawn tennis club has made the decision that The Chairman's Trophy Tournament and the follow-on afternoon tea to commemorate Marion Doe, scheduled for April 4th, will be postponed until later in the year.

The club has also decided that in order to minimise the risk of infection, the kitchen and bar at the club will be closed and out of action until further notice.

Members can of course, bring their own thermos flasks for hot drinks to drink outside. The toilets and cloakrooms will be fully available.

If members wish to continue to play tennis, they are asked to follow sensible hygiene practices whilst on court, including regular use of hand sanitiser after handling balls.
