Congleton gears up for upcoming Mayor’s Civic Service and Parade

Congleton Town Council is reminding residents, community groups, charities, and organisations to come along and take part in the upcoming Mayor's Civic Service and Parade taking place on Sunday 22 June.

This special event welcomes Cllr Robert Brittain as the newly elected Town Mayor and continues a proud tradition of celebrating civic pride and community spirit in Congleton.

The parade, led by Rode Hall Silver Band, will assemble at 2.30pm at the rear of Congleton Town Hall, ready to depart at 2.45pm and proceed to St Peter's Church, Chapel Street for the 3pm service.

Following the service, a reception will be held at the Town Hall for invited guests.

Participants are welcome to join the parade or go directly to the church.

Residents are warmly encouraged to line the streets and cheer on those taking part, helping to create a festive and supportive atmosphere for this much-loved local occasion.
