Congleton's Eco Icon Cong Bear cheers on fundraiser Callum Bloor alongside Congleton town councillor

By Guest 27th May 2020

Congleton's Eco Icon Cong Bear came out of hibernation to cheer on Callum Bloor who completed a 10 lap charity walk, equalling ten miles around Astbury Mere.

Accompanied by his sister Megan, Callum did the walk in costume to raise funds for Visyon, a charity that supports the emotional health of young people and their families.

Callum raised £280 for Visyon.

Councillor Rob Moreton was also in attendance to show his support.

At the end of Saturday's outing Cong Bear headed back to the woods where he'll wait until his next appearance.
