Following a request from councillors, Congleton Town Council has announced that the closing date of the Health and Wellbeing Survey has been extended until late August.
This is to allow more residents the opportunity to answer and give the town council more confidence in their results.
The survey was launched on the 10th July and so far 263 residents have responded, to be more confident in the findings, the town council would like to see even more people respond.
What impact has COVID-19 had on your health and wellbeing? Congleton Town Council is keen to learn more about how the Coronavirus has affected you and your family.
Speaking at Thursday's virtual Congleton Town Council meeting of the environment and community committee, Cllr Kay Wesley stated that the town council would like to see more responses submitted.
Cllr Wesley added: "We are a town of 28,000 people, so we would like to run it for another couple of weeks."
Cllr Margaret Gartside said: "I would have said 200+ responses for a town the size of Congleton is only really quite a small number of people are responding to our survey."
It takes less than five minutes to answer the survey which can be downloaded here.
Residents now have until the 28th August to complete the questionnaire. Answers will be anonymous and will help contribute to the overall picture for Congleton.
If you have a specific concern relating to Covid-19 please ring the Covid-19 Community Line on 01260 541815 or email [email protected] and the town council will try and help with your query.
