The Congleton town centre B&M store will close its doors for the last time later this month because the retailer has finished its lease on the building.

B&M have confirmed that the High Street store is due to close on Saturday, 26th June after store trading.

A spokesperson for B&M told Nub News: "The store is closing as we've reached the end of our lease on the building."

Congleton has a bigger B&M store located on the Congleton Retail Park, on Viking Way, which will not be closing like the impending town centre location.

Nub News was also told that all staff members at the town centre branch will be relocated to nearby stores so there will be no job losses.
