Supermarket shoppers can help bring joy to children spending Christmas in hospital.
Tesco in Congleton has launched a Christmas Toy Appeal in support of East Cheshire NHS Trust's children's ward at Macclesfield District General Hospital.
Running until December 15, the appeal invites customers and members of the local community to donate new, unwrapped toys suitable for children of all ages.
Wendy Cotterill, community champion at Tesco Congleton, said: "At Tesco Congleton, we want every child who can't be home for Christmas to still experience the joy, magic and excitement of the festive season.
"Our community never fails to show its generosity, and we're proud to support families and the wonderful staff at our local hospital in this way."

Lily Preston, charity manager at East Cheshire NHS Trust Charity, added: "We're so grateful for Tesco's continued support of our charity and our local hospitals.
"As the festive season approaches, we're reminded of the importance of coming together to support those who need it most.
"Your generosity helps us enhance staff wellbeing and improve patient experience, going above and beyond what standard NHS funding can provide.
"Whether you're an individual, local business or school, there are so many ways to support your local NHS this Christmas – from making a one-off donation to taking part in our 'Wear Something Festive' appeal or partnering with us throughout the year."
