Pupils in Congleton are in celebration mode following the release of their A-level results.

Congleton High School's sixth form college, part of The Learning Partnership, is celebrating another strong set of examination results at A-level.

Students achieved strong performances across a broad range of A-level subjects, while many also secured excellent outcomes in technical and vocational qualifications as well.

Headteacher, Heidi Thurland, said: "We are incredibly proud of the achievements of all our students.

"These results represent not only academic success but also the dedication, perseverance and ambition shown by our young people throughout their studies.

"Once again, our students have achieved excellent outcomes across a wide range of A-level, vocational and technical subjects.

"These results demonstrate the outstanding progress our students make and the high-quality education and support they receive during their time with us.

"We are delighted to see so many students progressing to their chosen universities, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.

"We congratulate every student on their achievements and wish them every success as they take their next steps."

Congleton students are heading off to study subjects including midwifery and primary teaching, biomedicine with AI, data science, aerospace engineering, psychology and physiotherapy.

Among the school's success stories is Olly Payne, who has earned himself a place at Oxford to study history.

Caitlyn Bailey, meanwhile, has bagged a place on one of the top journalism courses at the University of Sheffield, part of the Russell Group.

Barney Mitcheson is celebrating having secured a prestigious nuclear scientist degree apprenticeship at the University of Manchester.

He will be joined there by Harriet Worthington, who will be studying liberal arts.

Heading to the University of Liverpool are Abi Finley and Darcy Field, who will be studying bio veterinary science and law respectively.
