Congleton: Sex assault warrant leads to arrest and drug find amid other multiple alleged offences

A man has been arrested in Congleton on account of multiple alleged crimes.
The arrest took place on the residential street of Ennerdale Drive, located directly north of Congleton's Astbury Mere Country Park.
In a statement, Cheshire Police said: "At around 1am on Tuesday 16 November officers from Cheshire police conducted a warrant at an address on Ennerdale Drive, Congleton, in relation to allegations of sexual assault."
"While searching the address officers discovered a small cannabis farm in a garage attached to the property.
"A 35-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault of a person, harassment, sexual assault and cannabis cultivation.
"He has since been released on conditional bail until Tuesday 14 December."
He has not yet been named or charged.
