Congleton: Police investigate attempted burglary and thefts from cars

Police are investigating an attempted burglary and thefts from vehicles in Congleton.

Last Monday (27th April) at around 5am a man was seen trying to open car doors at The Moorings, then at 6am a man was also seen doing the same in a car park in Moody Street.

At 5.32pm on the same day a garage was broken into at The Moorings and items were left there.

Sgt Paul Brunton, of Cheshire Police, said: "There was potentially stolen property recovered from the garage at The Moorings which may have come from vehicles in the area.

"We are making a number of enquiries and would urge anyone with information to contact us."
