Support for Congleton businesses emerging from lockdown measures is being offered by a new business referral marketing group starting this week.

Team Congleton is the latest NetworkIN Cheshire group to launch, and the first to launch exclusively online.

It offers business owners and solopreneurs mutual advice and training opportunities so they can thrive during the current tough trading conditions.

Pam Allen, owner of award winning Cheshire virtual assistant business PA Today, who runs NetworkIN Cheshire, said the number of businesses joining the existing teams in Nantwich, Crewe and Sandbach had grown during lockdown after meetings moved online to keep members connected.

She said: "I'm continually amazed at how our Cheshire advocates have pulled together and helped each other adapt to all the changes they've needed to make to keep trading during lockdown.

"NetworkIN Cheshire celebrated its first anniversary in May and now has over 40 advocates, and we're delighted to launch a Congleton team to support any businesses based in and around the town.

"There was a clear need to support businesses in this area, and the feedback we've had is that providing this online really works. Our advocates and guests don't need to travel, it fits around family life, and most of all everyone in the room works together to help each other win new business."

New advocates are welcome from across all sectors and guests can sample an online meeting for free.

Existing businesses within the teams include mortgage advisors, solicitors, software designers, digital marketers, insurance brokers, financial advisors, and website designers.

Team Congleton welcomed more than 20 businesses to the first meeting held on Wednesday this week, and the next meeting will be on July 29th at 10am. Meetings then take place every other Wednesday at the same time.

Any Congleton businesses interested in joining NetworkIN Cheshire and securing their online seat can contact Pam direct on 07938 549876 and find out more here.
