This week, we head to a business not far from the town centre.

Franklyn Financial Management, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, have long had an eye for local talent.

From hosting work experience from schools to actively seeking young graduates from the local area, they do their bit for Congleton. (And charity as well).

And now this wealth management firm is after another Congletonian (or someone from further afar) to take their establishment to the next level.

In the week Rishi Sunak wanted to improve the nation's numeracy, this new job vacancy asks: are you good with numbers?

Franklyn Financial Management are after a new Accounts Coordinator.

"We are on the lookout for an office based Accounts Coordinator to join our dynamic and fast paced team, to assist our Accounts Manager with the day-to-day management, maintenance, and processing of the company accounts and financial records," they told Nub News.

Key Duties

  • Daily bank reconciliation and cash flow control.
  • Inputting of sales and purchase invoices and bank statements into the accounting system.
  • Processing of monthly accounting journals.
  • Production of month end and year end management accounts.
  • Preparation and submission of payroll requests and arrangement of payment.
  • Regulatory pension contributions processing.
  • Assist with daily new business tracking and figures management
  • Assisting the Accounts Manager with facility management, auditing, and general office administration.

Skills and Experience:

  • AAT qualified – desirable, not essential.
  • A Level or equivalent – Maths desirable.
  • Minimum 9 GCSEs grade 5 or above – including English and Maths.
  • Must have previous experience in basic accounting.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • High attention to detail with excellent written skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude at all times.
  • Works well on own tasks as well as on shared goals as part of a team.
  • Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a previous in a basic accounting role.
  • Fully office based.

Location - Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 1LB.

Salary - DOE
