Congleton Jazz and Blues' music festival returns this August bank holiday weekend

By Tom Avery 12th Aug 2021

Congleton Jazz and Blues have announced that this year's August bank holiday weekend event is going ahead.

The organisers have 16 venues and over 50 gigs lined up, which means there is "something for everyone in Jazz and Blues".

Over the weekend, there will be some "great" local talent and "as usual, exceptional" artists from around the UK, as well as some new Congleton Jazz and Blues acts and some "old favourites" too.

The organisers are "very proud" and "happy" to announce that Congleton Town Council has stepped in as an Elite Sponsor to ensure that Congleton Jazz and Blues can put on a "great show" this year.

The festival programme will be published on the Congleton Jazz and Blues website from next week (week commencing 9th August).

The organisers will also produce a hardcopy mini programme in a similar format to their usual booklet, this will be available from Saturday 21st August.

They are re-issuing popular posters from past years, and there will be a 2021 poster.

More information is available on the website from Monday (9th August).
