Congleton Harriers Running Club are pleased to announce that the 37th Congleton Half Marathon is back.

East Cheshire's "long established and much-loved" half marathon is making a "triumphant" return for the 37th year to Congleton on Sunday, 3rd October 2021.

After taking an unexpected break in 2020, the harriers are "extremely excited" to be making arrangements for this year's event.

As always, this is a charity event, one hundred per cent of the profits will be shared between three local Cheshire charities, East Cheshire Hospice, Ruby's Fund and The Storehouse Foodbank.

A Congleton Harriers spokesperson said: "We want everyone to have a safe and fun experience, and everyone can rest assured that we are taking all necessary steps to comply with COVID guidelines."

Entry costs £25 unaffiliated and £23 affiliated. All entries get a special commissioned event medal and t-shirt.

This year's design is being produced by one of Congleton Harriers very own artists and will be revealed "very soon".

You can enter the event here.

To make the event accessible to all, the harriers are offering both physical and virtual entries to this year's event.

More news and details about the event will follow.
