A Congleton curry house has been named the nation's best.

East 360 on Lawton Street secured top spot in the 'Best Restaurant of the Year' category at the Curry Life Awards 2025.

This accolade recognises the efforts of owners Shahan Ahmed and Bobby Bakht and head chef Abdul Salam, who completed a rebrand of the venue last year.

Shahan said: "It's a privilege to be nominated for such a prestigious award, let alone win it!

"This recognition is a testament to the collective effort of my staff and the incredible support from our community, which has been instrumental in East 360's journey."

The Curry Life Awards culminated with a ceremony in London on Sunday (October 12), hosted by ITV broadcaster Nina Hossain.
