A team of engineers will be attending Buglawton to fix a section of pipework which has burst and is restricting the water supply to households.

United Utilities are working to fix the problem on Harvey Road, Buglawton, as quick as possible.

A United Utilities spokesperson said at 7:15am this morning (Friday): "We have received reports that some of you may be experiencing no water or just a trickle this morning.

"Our engineer has been to the area to investigate and has found a further section of pipework on Harvey Road has burst.

"We have requested a team of engineers to attend and repair this as soon as possible. We're sorry for the continued inconvenience and disruption, we hope to have your taps flowing again very soon."
