A highlight of the Congleton calendar is fast approaching.

Bark in the Park returns to Congleton Park on Sunday, July 12.

Pet owners are invited to bring their furry friends along for a fun-filled day featuring the RSPCA Dog Show and a variety of family friendly activities.

A spokesperson for the animal welfare charity said: "Whether you're entering your dog, supporting a rescue charity, or simply looking for a great day out with the family, Bark in the Park promises something for everyone.

"We look forward to seeing you there!"

Bark in the Park gets underway at 12pm, with the RSPCA Dog Show starting at 2pm.

Entry to the dog show is £2 per class, with all proceeds going directly towards helping the animals cared for by RSPCA Macclesfield, South East Cheshire & Buxton Branch.
