'Avoid the area' -Firefighters and paramedics called to crash near Congleton

Motorists have been urged to avoid the Somerford area following a crash.
Emergency services were called to Chelford Road on Wednesday night (October 15) following reports of a crash involving one vehicle.
Two Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service engines, one each from the Congleton and Sandbach stations, arrived at the scene at around 9.45pm.
Upon arrival, they found one person trapped in the vehicle.
"Firefighters are at the scene of a one-vehicle road traffic collision on Chelford Road in Somerford," said a spokesperson for the fire service.
"Please avoid the area if possible."
Shortly before 10.30pm, the spokesperson confirmed that the casualty had been released from the vehicle and subsequently handed into the care of paramedics.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson added: "At 9.45pm on Wednesday, police were called to a collision on Chelford Road, Somerford.
"Police and fire attended and found that there had been a one vehicle collision involving a black Fiat Punto.
"The driver of the car, a man, was released by firefighters and passed to the care of paramedics.
"There were no reports of any serious injuries, and the scene was cleared by 12.15am on Thursday, October 16."
