Annual Meeting offers chance to share your views on issues affecting Congleton

Residents are invited to share their views on life in Congleton.
Congleton's Annual Town Meeting takes place at the Town Hall next month.
It is not a council meeting but an opportunity for residents to comment or raise questions about any aspect of town life.
The meeting is legally required to take place before June 1 each year and serves as an important platform for community engagement.
Chief officer David McGifford said: "The Annual Town Meeting is a great chance for local people to get together and raise questions about issues affecting the town.
"It is not a council meeting, and councillors have the same rights as attending members of the public.
"Issues raised during the meeting will either be taken up by the town council or passed to the relevant organisation for consideration.
"I hope many residents and local group representatives will take the time to attend."

The Annual Town Meeting takes place on Thursday, May 15, in Congleton Town Hall.
Members of the public are invited to arrive from 5.30pm for the presentation of the Town Mayor's Civic Awards, which begins at 6pm.
The meeting, chaired by Congleton Town Mayor, councillor Kay Wesley, starts at 7pm and will include a review of the past year and a series of short presentations.
There will then be a question-and-answer session on the items discussed before an open session where anyone present may raise matters of concern or interest.
