Introduction to spinning yarn

During this 3 hour workshop you will learn the basics of spinning yarn on a drop spindle and take home your very own skein of hand spun yarn!

Katherine from Yarny Goodness will provide all the materials you need to give this ancient craft a try. You'll learn

- the basics of turning fibre into yarn

- how to spin using a drop spindle

- how to ply and finish your yarn

Participants will be limited to 6 to ensure individual attention. Places are £35.
