Amigurimi Crochet Critters

Amigurimi Workshop 3 hours

Amigurimi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting a stuffed toy.

So if you are ready to take your crochet to the next level ? Then this workshop is for you .

Do you want to learn how to make the adorable crocheted toys which are all over Pinterest and Instagram ?

We will cover all the crochet elements that are needed to make your own cute squishy toy.

We will cover invisible increasing and invisible decreasing ( these methods will give your work the best possible finish) working in the round , creating a magic ring ( or alternatives) and reading amigurimi patterns ( or diagrams) .

I will provide you with tips and tricks to help you master this crochet artform.

Once you have mastered this amazing skill a whole new world of crochet will open up for you.

Please note that this workshop is not suitable for absolute beginners.

NB you will probably not be able to finish the entire amigurimi in the workshop BUT you will learn all the skills that you need to be able to do so.

It is perfect if you have attended The Absolute Beginners Workshops or you have learned the basics

:- you must be able to do double crochet stitches UK terms (single crochet in US terms)

A crochet hook, stitch marker ( very important for this type of crochet) yarn, stuffing and safety eyes and supporting written materials and a pattern will be provided.

Refreshments are included.

This type of crochet is addictive you won't be able to stop at making just one.
