In replacement of the police surgeries, Congleton Police will be having #TweetChats on social media.
The first chat will be taking place today between 3pm and 4pm.
Considering the ongoing situation with the Coronavirus, Congleton Lawn tennis club has made the decision that The Chairman's Trophy Tournament and the follow-on afternoon tea to commemorate Marion Doe, scheduled for April 4th, will be postponed until later in the year.
The club has also decided that in order to minimise the risk of infection, the kitchen and bar at the club will be closed and out of action until further notice.
The state of play with Congleton's pubs and businesses is changing every day due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Currently, planning permission is required for businesses to carry out a change of use to a hot food takeaway.

The seating area at Congleton McDonald's will be closed for the foreseeable future from today due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The drive-thru will remain open. The fast-food chain announced the move across all restaurants last night.

Laura Ashley has confirmed they intend to appoint administrators after admitting coronavirus has had a significant impact on trading, adding that investors were unable to step up and provide the cash required to keep them afloat.
The Congleton store which doesn't stock clothing is currently open for business and can be found at the Congleton Retail Park, on Barn Road.

Congleton residents Julie Code and Sharon Neild have set up a Facebook group called 'You Are Not Alone', for people that are self-isolating due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Mrs Nield said: "We want people in our community to feel that they are not alone and this group is for people to chat and feel connected.
Following yesterday's Government update on Coronavirus,Congleton charity Ruby's Fund has announced that they will be closed from today until further notice.
This means all of the sessions and services that are part of Ruby's Fund will not be running.

Congleton's Iceland store has confirmed that they will be opening exclusively for the elderly and vulnerable people tomorrow morning in light of the Coronavirus.
The first two hours of opening, 8am - 10am, will be solely dedicated to no fear shopping to help those who do not want to mix with the rest of the community.
