Staff and pupils from Congleton High School will pay their respects to "a valued member of the school community" tomorrow (Friday) when the funeral cortege for Georgia Ogden passes by.

Georgia sadly passed away after the car she was travelling in crashed into an HGV on the A34 in Astbury in the early hours of 25th June.

A Congleton East Police spokesperson said: "After a complaint from a resident raising concerns, please check that any play areas in Congleton are officially reopened before using them.

Congleton restaurants and other eateries serving food to eat on the premises can now sign up to a new Government initiative aimed at protecting jobs in the hospitality industry and encouraging people to safely return to dining out.

The Eat Out to Help Out registration page went live this morning (Mon) on GOV.UK, allowing businesses to join the scheme announced last week by Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak.
