In line with updated government guidance Congleton Lawn Tennis Club can now start to stage fun competitive tournaments.

They will be staging two short fun tournaments on Sunday 26th July.

From 10am-12pm will be the PETBOX SUMMER FUN TOURNAMENT.

From 1pm-3pm will be the PHIL'S FAMOUS CHIPPY PRESIDENTS TROPHY.

The club thanked both Petbox and Phil's Famous Chippy for supporting the club.

Each tournament is just £3 to enter and partners are drawn at random - all standards are welcome and entrants will play with different people during the event.

Due to the current COVID situation the club must record all those taking part in the events and therefore entry is by pre-registration only.

Members must go onto the TOURNAMENTS page on the club website and book onto the tournament they wish to enter and pay the entry fee.

It's great to have competitive events back at the club and details of the winners will feature on Nub News after the events.

Safety and hygiene measures will be in operation on the day.
