The weather may be cold, we may be encountering snow and we may be in the midst of a third national lockdown, but Congleton Lawn Tennis Club is already starting its preparations for the 2021/22 season.

The club is thrilled to be able to announce its first four sponsors for the new season.

The club has two returning sponsors confirmed already.

Thanks to Becky at Barking Mad for agreeing to sponsor the club again in 2021.

Barking Mad sponsored the successful 2020 Festive Tournament and their support is welcomed, they will be sponsoring our 2021 Presidents Trophy.

The prizes planned for our 2020 New Year's Eve tournament have been transferred to our 2021 Summer Fun Tournament.

Thanks to Paul at Spall Clark Solicitors for continuing to support us. The winners will receive vouchers from Pecks.

The first two new sponsors have also been announced.

"FOR YOU" a small local business has agreed to partner with us and sponsor the 2021 Chairman's Trophy. Many thanks to owner Genevieve McGahan.

Genevieve said: "My business is a baking business. I make all kinds of cupcakes, brownies, blondies and delicious treats. I do birthday cakes and anniversary cakes too.

"I have baked for over 10 years and love everything about it."

The winners will receive cupcake vouchers. Genevieve can be contacted on 07554 456748.

Hot Spot of Sandbach are also on board with the club and have kindly agreed to sponsor the 2021 Town Mayor's Tournament.

Thanks to their generosity each winner will receive a £25 food voucher.

Members are encouraged to support those who are supporting the club.

Any other local businesses who would be interested in supporting the club, in return for 12 months of free publicity through the club's social media should contact Andrew Giltrap on 07852 172429.
