Congleton 2nd team travelled to their game against Christleton for a 3pm kick off on Saturday.

The Congleton team were regrettably no match for the well drilled team of Christleton and although they fought hard and managed to put in some good groundwork they just didn't manage to overthrow the home team.

Whilst the home team managed to rack up the points, Congleton only managed to obtain 7 through a converted try making the final score Christleton 57 – Congleton 7.

Next weekend should see the 1st team take on Ellesmere Port at their ground, and the 2nd team are scheduled to take on Wallasey also an away fixture.
