A Christmas Concert with Russell Watson

Russell Watson's run at St Mary's Church in Astbury continues on Thursday, December 18.

He will also be performing on Saturday, December 20.

Tickets are on sale at Glebe Farm.

Community Carols by Candelight

St Peter's Church will host a candlelit Christmas carol concert on Thursday.

The Town Mayor and Mayoress will be attending and all are welcome.

The Beartown Singers will lead the singing and seasonal refreshments will be served after the service.

Needle Felted Robin Workshop

Get into the festive spirit with this cosy, creative afternoon at The Boathouse Studio.

During this three-hour workshop, you will learn how to make your own needle felted robin.

The session is led by Vicky Pulman, founder of Needlessly Felted and a member of the International Feltmakers Association.

Christmas Afternoon Tea

Looking a little outside of town, Heaton House Farm is welcoming guests for a festive afternoon tea.

There will be a range of seasonal sandwiches on offer, including roast turkey, pigs in blankets and prawns with Marie Rose sauce.

There will also be other treats including spice lamb filo mince pie, scones with strawberry jam and Baileys cream, and Viennese mince pies.

Congleton Makers Market

It's time for the final Congleton Makers Market of the year.

A perfect opportunity for some last-minute Christmas shopping, expect a wide ranger of traders selling everything from jewellery and handmade crafts to baked goods and clothing.

There will also be live music from Victoria Lucie, face painting by iFacePainting and free festive children's crafts with Little Sprouts.

They have everything from jewellery and sculptures to hand-made soaps and original paintings, with the work of over 80 artists and crafters available for purchase.
