Get your spook on Congleton! The Halloween weekend is here.

And while we have reported extensively on the Congleton Climate Festival kickstarting this weekend, there are a plethora of other events in our town.

Here are three great events you can do this weekend in Congleton.

Don't forget, you can promote an upcoming event in our town on the Congleton Nub News events section.

Here's what's on this weekend in Congleton.

  1. The Makers Market

There's just three Congleton Makers Market's left for the rest of the year. And with the Christmas one set to be the busiest of the year, perhaps this weekend might be a great time to do the festive shopping now to avoid disappointment.

From 10am-4pm on Saturday the Bridge Street artisan market will sell shawarma to shoes, jewellery to journals.

With our market charter turning 750 next year along with our town, let's all rally behind our independent traders in these tough times this weekend.

  1. Halloween Performing Arts Events by Embrace

The Congleton Cricket Club on Booth Street will have a touch of the West End this weekend!

It is as Fieldfare Close performing arts company Embrace will host a spooky themed musical theatre date for Congleton.

Great for young families to sing their hearts out from 9am-3pm on Friday October 29. This event was nubbed to our site, for which you can read more about here.

Additionally, they'll also be hosting a kids Halloween Party at the Congleton sporting venue on Saturday.

The Hoochie Coochie Band will be performing at the event, which takes place from 6.00pm - 7.45pm.

Entry is free of charge and Embrace Performing Arts will be providing dancing and games to help boogie off the sugary Halloween treats.

There will also be a DJ and food which can be purchased.

Fancy dress is encouraged for both children and adults (but not mandatory) and there will be a prize for best dressed. Please contact the Congleton performing arts company for more information.

  1. Go Bananas Party

And perhaps for the ultimate release of trick-or-treat sugar-fuelled energy, children can attend the Go Bananas Party in Congleton.
