Congleton Town Hall is set to play host to Oasish - the UK's number one Oasis tribute band, tomorrow evening (Friday 21 June).

The band have received acclaim from NME, Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets), and even Liam Gallagher himself.

Indeed, reviewers at the BBC and The Sun have gone as far as to say that Oasish were better than their real-life counterparts. Certainly, at current, it's the closest you can get to seeing the real Oasis live!

The band will take to the stage at Congleton Town Hall, with doors open from 7pm. The performance itself starts at 8.30pm.

Tickets, as of time of writing, are still available, and cost £19.50.

Rachel McCarthy, events officer at Congleton Town Council, said: "Since their formation in 2004, Oasish has become a sensation in the tribute band scene.

"Renowned for their incredible attention to detail, they use the same high-quality instruments as Oasis. Many fans claim they are even better than the real thing! They have performed at iconic venues such as Wembley Stadium, The National Indoor Arena, Manchester Academy, and are the only band to play at the Glastonbudget Festival every year since its inception.

"This is an event not to be missed, make sure you get hold of a ticket and get ready to sing along to timeless hits like 'Wonderwall', 'Champagne Supernova', and 'Live Forever'."
