Two cars were vandalised at a Congleton car park at a similar time over the weekend.

Ella Kehoe left her car at the Chapel Street car park on Saturday whilst she was working which is what she has done for the last two years without any issue.

However, she came back on Sunday and her vehicle had been completely vandalised.

Ella told Congleton Nub News: "It looked like it had been kicked and keyed or someone has got a wire brush or something on it. Wing mirror was pushed in and the door handle had been pulled off.

"It also happened to a lads car parked two down from mine, just not as bad. Just unfortunate it had happened to mine."

Another resident posted on social media to state that their car had also been vandalised at Chapel Street car park at a similar time.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Police have received a report of a car being damaged on the car park in Chapel Street and on High Street.

"The damage appears to have happened sometime between 11.30am on 7 March and 10am on 8 March."

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 656094. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
