A farm, made famous by actors-turned-farmers, has opened to the public for Christmas.

Kelvin Fletcher, former Emmerdale star, and wife Liz Fletcher hosted a star-studded party ahead of the opening of the farm to the public.

The farm, which was made famous on the ITV programme 'Fletcher's Family Farm', has not been open to the public - until now, when it is opening for Christmas as a Santa's Village attraction for the festive season.

Located in the hills above Congleton, Cheshire, the Peak District farm is welcoming families to interact with animals, learn about life on the farm, take part in Christmas activities and try fresh farm produce.

Christmas activities include making reindeer food, meeting Santa, seeing his sleigh and meeting Santa's helpers in a giant snow globe.

Following this Christmas extravaganza, the farm will return to TV screens at 11.30am and 7pm on Christmas Eve for a Christmas special of Fletchers' Family Farm.
