By Tom Avery   31st Jul 2020

Giantswood Lane is due to reopen today (Friday), but temporary traffic lights will be in place from Monday (3 August).

The temporary traffic lights on Giantswood Lane, between Westlow Mere and Smithy Lane, Hulme Walfield, will be in place 24 hours a day to allow the widening of the Giantswood Lane carriageway.

The planned completion date for this work is 28 August.

Temporary traffic lights will also be in place from Monday (3 August) on Holmes Chapel Road, Somerford, between the hours of 7am to 5pm to enable diversion works. The planned completion date for this work is 7 August.
