A holiday home near Reade's Lane has attracted a near-perfect rating on the holiday website Airbnb.

'Hideaway in the Woods', which has a 4.76 review by 101 guests, is one of Congleton's highest rated Airbnb's.

It also one of the most unique, being situated in a remote centre of a Congleton farm.

It costs just £85 per night to stay in, and can sleep four.

It describes itself as a "Peaceful and comfortable holiday home in a secluded location on a Cheshire farm."

Despite being in the middle of a mini-forest, the farm chalet has central heating, two toilets, a shower, and fully equipped kitchen.

There's even WiFi at this rural retreat, which as we reported yesterday, some urban homes in Congleton struggle to get.

The Congleton Airbnb also homes with outdoor space with sitting area, bbq and fire pit. The only sounds you will hear outside is the nearby farm and the sounds of nature.

It is just a two miles from Congleton Town Centre.

The description reads: "Hideaway is a spacious and light 2 bedroom holiday home in a secluded location on a working farm. Very peaceful and quiet location, surrounded by woodlands.

"It is peaceful and close to nature: woodlands, pasture, wild life, night skies.

"Dogs [considered] by prior permission only due to cattle grazing nearby. Please contact us first if you want to bring your pet, before making a booking.

"There is an extra charge of £15 for staying pets, excluding service dogs and cats."

Including booking fees, the getaway costs £113 a night.

One review described one of Congleton's best-received Airbnb's as "A wonderfully private and peaceful base for exploring the Peak District.".
