Teenager arrested after sexual touching complaint in Congleton

POLICE are investigating a sexual assault on a woman in Congleton said to have taken place yesterday (Sunday).
Officers were called at around 2.45pm after reports that a woman had been touched inappropriately on Mountbatten Way.
A search of the area took place and officers arrested a 13-year-old boy on suspicion of sexual assault.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "He [the teenager] has since been released under investigation."
