Teenage boy arrested after police called to incident in Congleton

A teenage boy has been arrested following an incident in Congleton.
Emergency services were called to Cross Street on Friday morning, March 19, amid reports of concern for safety.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 9.06am on Friday, police were called to an address on Cross Street in Congleton following reports of concern for safety.
"Officers attended along with paramedics and negotiated with a 17-year-old boy.
"Just after 11am he was assessed by paramedics and arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, public order, racially aggravated public order and homophobically aggravated public order."
