Congleton Veterinary Centre is bringing routine care to you.

The Sandbach Road practice has announced the launch of a new discount at-home service.

Starting later this month, once or twice a month the Congleton Veterinary Centre team will be offering half-price house visits for those living in the CW12 area.

Veterinary surgeon Alice Briggs said: "We wanted to find a way to bring routine care to our clients that struggle to get their pets into the practice for various reasons.

"The idea is loosely modelled from equine practice zone days, as a way of saving people money on house visits by being in one area at a time.

"We plan to add more areas as we get interest, but for now, we are limiting it to CW12 postcodes divided into sections."

As detailed by the map below, Congleton Veterinary Centre will visit one of the three CW12 zones on the following dates:

• Red - Tuesday, May 26
• Blue - Tuesday, June 9
• Green - Tuesday, June 23

To start, this at-home service will offer routine health checks, medication reviews, blood pressure checks, vaccinations, nail clipping, anal gland expression, post-operative checks, dressing changes and monthly injections.

Visits are priced at £45 (on top of any consultation or medication fees), with discounts available for those on a Pet Health Club plan.

Appointments will only be available in the mornings only.
