A local vets is making it easier than ever to give your furry friend the best start to life.

Congleton Veterinary Centre are currently offering a reduced price on their puppy and kitten vaccination courses.

Full nose to tail health checks are now just £70, with routine consultations reduced to £45 for their first 12 months.

Clinical director Struan Henderson said: "We recognise that a new puppy or kitten brings with it considerable financial investment as they settle into their new home, getting spoiled left, right and centre!

"Veterinary costs are also incurred to ensure they're given the best start in life, including their primary vaccine course, and check ups if and when they're poorly.

"Many new pet-parents are understandably worried, and would rather be seen and have their pet checked, if only to put their mind at rest."

Struan continued: "To help with this burden, we've reduced our primary vaccination courses (£70 full course, or £50 second vaccine only), as well as our consultation fee for pets under 12 months of age (£45).

"What's more is that these prices are also available for vaccines seen on a Saturday, or sick pets seen on a Sunday! 

"Hopefully these prices help make the cost a little bit easier as these new family members are settling in and becoming fully grown.
