A 200-year-old pub in Congleton has been refurbished and local MP Fiona Bruce has paid a visit.

Fiona Bruce MP visited the Castle Inn in Mossley, taking up an invitation to meet publican, Paul Brown, who has taken on the Castle Inn, Mossley, with his wife, Karen, and overseen extensive refurbishment.

Fiona met with Operations Manager, Harry Bourne, and Jon Dale from Punch Pubs & Co.

Fiona said: "The Castle Inn is a hidden gem. I enjoyed a really relaxing time in the cosy surroundings and plan to return soon - hopefully on a sunny day to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views."
